I Want to Be Sedated.

I Want to be Sedated is an animated short about the inability to sleep and self-destruction. Everything except the music was done alone in the span of 7 weeks.

I wanted to really show the mania of insomnia visually, and reflect the contrasting tone of the music and lyrics by having two very different colour palettes for the imaginary and real scenes. I also thought having a messier look to the 3d model’s texture was also important to that, but i still wanted to focus and center the music by editing it to the beat.
